The actress, best known for her role as White House press secretary turned chief of staff C.J. Cregg on Sorkin’s much-loved NBC drama “The West Wing,” told the Track that she’s a huge fan of Sorkin’s latest show, and wasn’t aware that it had been skewered in the press for its whiny female characters.

“Well, he needs to put me on that show!” Allison said. “I would love to be on it. Maybe he’ll think of a character for me. It would be great!”
